Celebrating 10 years with FH

Below is an email that Victor Cortez, regional director of Latin America, sent out to all FH:

Dear FH Family,

As Regional Director for Latin America, I am pleased to announce that on August 16th, Ryan Smedes the FH/Peru’s Country Director has complete 10 years serving in FH.

In his serving along with FH, he was the CD’s assistant for FH/Bolivia; then, he was the project manager for a microenterprise program in Dominican Republic, an initiative combined with Chalmers Institute. He has also been involved as a consultant in a livelihood recuperation program in Meulaboh, Indonesia after the Tsunami.

Ryan could not make all this achievement without the support from his wife Angela, and his three wonderful children: Gabriel (8), Tobias (5) and Eliana (4).

I am thankful that God has sustained Ryan all these years, and thrilled to see what God has in store for him and his family for the next year’s serving in Peru.

We are also excited to see what God has in store for us, extremely grateful for each one of you for continuing to walk with us in this journey, and feel incredibly blessed by the Lord's sustained provision.

Any ideas out there on how we should celebrate?

congratulations. It's hard to believe it's been 10 years. Have a family party, with balloons, streamers and lots of goodies. Maybe even some dancing. You all party so well.
