FH has been promoting the sharing of experiences between our different regions - Latin America, Asia and Africa - through sending representatives from each region to the annual regional conference. Last month in Bolivia a representative from Africa and Asia attended and shared. Ryan has the incredible opportunity to represent FH's work in Latin America during the Africa regional conference the 19-23 of June. He went early in order to see FH's work in Nairobi and in the northern desert of Marsabit. The conference is on the coast in Malindi. After quite a long trek he arrived in time to sleep through his first day. At night he enjoyed the delicacies of the Carnivore restaurant, including chicken, pork, beef, as well as the more exotic ostrich, camel, ox testicle, and crocodile. Not to be forgotten. His second day he spent visiting FH work with people living with HIV/AIDS and caregivers of orphans of AIDS victims.
