Live from Lima

Ryan flew back to Seattle on the 5th to finish packing and help move the kids and I to Lima. Just after midnight on February 8th we arrived in Lima. After finding all ten 50lb bags (and 7 carry-ons) we loaded up into 2 jeeps, drove 45 minutes to our apartment, and with the help of 4 others from FH we carried all the luggage up 4 flights of stairs (no elevator) to our new home. We were all quite excited and celebrated with ice cream at 2:00am (Rosaura, FH/Peru's departing director, stocked our fridge with a large meal, fruit, pie and ice cream).

Ryan went to work this morning and the kids and I spent the day playing in our blow up pool on the rooftop. They are taking some time adjusting to all the new and different things.

We appreciate your continued prayers of encouragment, strength and health. And have also loved your notes.

See the sidebar for our new in-country mailing address.
