A Bit of Politicking

We write to ask you to pray for a meeting Ryan has tomorrow in one of FH/Peru's Lima communities. FH/Peru runs a program against family violence, part of which entails training community counselors to help solve conflicts before they escalate to violence. We have partnered with the Peruvian government's Ministry of Justice through its national school of extrajudicial conciliation to help train leaders in our communities to become promoters of "Dialogue and Peace." Tomorrow the Vice Minister of the Justice Department will visit this training along with his whole press crew. While we are excited for the exposure for FH/Peru's work and to encourage our community leaders in their service to their communities, the customary discourse and potential interview that Ryan will be expected to perform is a bit nerve wracking. We'd appreciate your prayers.
