Encouraged and Filled

We're feeling filled up and sad at the same time.

Filled up with love, encouragment, joy, affirmation, and Him.

And sad, because we said goodbye to Grandma (Angela's mom) on Wednesday after a wonderful two week visit. And sad to also say goodbye to the UPC team that left on the 9th.

These two visits, my mom and 9 team members, were just what we needed, but didn't really know we needed. My mom had much love, energy (to take care of the few of us that got sick during her visit), and positive words to share with us. And the team blessed us with their desire to hear our story, cared for us and shared their excitement and energy for serving the Lord.

For this we are filled and sad at the same time.

Our Lord is continually bringing us just what we need, when we need it, in His time. He has called us each to serve Him and as we serve Him, we also need to allow ourselves to be served by His children. This is not an easy thing for me to accept, but one I'm learning is a necessary part of being in relationship with the Lord Jesus.

These two visits helped me to see more of God's design and plan for partership and relationship. We're all on this journey of life, loving Him, together. Together. During our interactions with the team and the time spent with Grandma, we were able to see more of what that means and looks like.

Thank you, Lord, for creating us to be in relationships.

And thank you for walking in relationship with us.
